EPICo, the European Print Initiatives Collaboration network, will hold its 2nd Conference (8th Kuopio Conference) in Barcelona, Spain, on 25-27 September 2024 at the Universitat de Barcelona, co-organized with the Consorci de Serveis Universitaris de Catalunya. This continues a series of successful events which started in Kuopio, Finland, in 1999.
With the theme “Importance of Print in a Digital World”, we will explore how to keep important printed library materials available in an era of pressure and uncertainty. Key topics include sustainability, acces to print, architecture, safety planning and publisher's perspective, everyone has the opportunity to participate in an appealing and diverse programme.
As the previous EPICo/Kuopio Conferences, we hope to bring together librarians, library staff, partners, publishers, exhibitors and special guests from all over the world.
EPICo will share more information as soon as the complete programme is available and registration is open.
